Member Project Feature #1

Michael Witiw's Juneco cabooses...cabeese...

Michael is a newer member of the club who is an excellent modeller and kindly provided the following information on his Juneco caboose project.

“Cabooses are being lettered and painted as the white leaf used during the 1944 to 1954 scheme. I have been using Tru-color paints TCP-032 CN Orange as the Morency Orange, TCP-168 Iron Oxide as mineral brown.

“I used Athearn stanchions that I cut for the roof grab iron supports. I did try plastic ones from Tichy Train Group but I found them way too fragile.”

Thanks, Michael! We look forward to seeing more of your projects.
